Social media
My sister and I have different opinions on social media. I actually enjoy it, not just scrolling but also posting, I only see it as a fun time.
She has had a very tumultuous relationship relationship with it. Over the years she's on and off deactivated her account. She calls it fake and phony and is bad for her mental health. She's incredibly emotional about it and is easily triggered.
I'm glad she deleted it if it's what's right for her. Problem is "I" completely understand her POV and don't question her but just let her be, she on the other hand always has this tone of annoyance that we don't follow her lead and delete our accounts, she overtly judges the fact that I post, constantly questions why as Facebook "is all fake", says people are only seeking attention and so on.
It's honestly annoying because I don't take it that seriously. Other people's posts don't bother me even if they're obviously super photoshopped, I 👏🏻 simply 👏🏻 don't 👏🏻 care 👏🏻. What other people do with their lives and what they choose to post has ABSOLUTELY no impact on me. It doesn't!!
She doesn't outright come out and say she's super annoyed that I'm STILL in it but I'm tired of hearing the same old judgmental story. It makes me not want to engage in conversation, which sucks because I love her so much.
