Bf keeps saying I over feed our toddler.

My bf keeps making comments insinuating I’m over feeding our toddler. If anyone else has a toddler, what does a typical breakfast/lunch/dinner plate look like for them? Our son is 3.5 years old and weighs around 38 to 40 pounds, which is within normal range for his age. He is about 41in tall (3ft 5in). This morning for breakfast I made pancakes, bacon, and we had fruit on the side. my toddler in total ate 2 pancakes, 2.5 pieces of bacon, and 2 whole bananas which is kinda more than he usually eats BUT he only picked at his dinner last night and took a couple bites before deciding he didn’t want it so he was pretty hungry when he got up this morning. I didn’t put all of that on his plate at the same time, he cleaned his plate once then said he wanted more so I gave him more and after he finished his seconds he said his belly was full and he was fine until lunch before getting hungry again. My bf said if he keeps eating like that he’s gonna be “big” and that I shouldn’t have given him that much food at breakfast. Breakfast and lunch is usually when he eats the best and he always just picks at dinner depending on what it is sometimes he eats a good amount but other times he just takes a few bites. Whenever he eats lunch usually he gets either a peanut butter sandwich or a turkey sandwich, a string cheese stick, one or two different fruits, veggie straws, or goldfish, and either water in a sippy cup or an apple juice box. Sometimes he cleans his plate but other times he doesn’t. He speaks very well and tells me when he’s hungry and tells me when he’s full, obviously he knows to stop when he gets full because he tells me when he’s done with his plate and if he’s asking me for more food or asking for seconds he’s clearly still hungry so why would I tell him no ? My bf constantly is acting like he’s always eating way too much for his age and thinks I’m gonna make him “big” as he calls it. Does it sound like he eats too much ?
