I have strain of hpv that cause lesions on my cervix. Apparently I have been having these lesions for 2 years and the doctor did not do anything because my hpv results were negative.However, this pap they lesions have gotten bigger and now are LSIL. I had to have a colposcopy. When my doctor read the results she said that it’s nothing to worry about and it will clear on its own. My concerns that I expressed to her is that it’s been two years and I haven’t cleared the virus. She told me the way we manage it is by monitoring over time and she will see me in a year.

Is there any other way that I can advocate for myself in this position?
