Tw if needed ! 
I’m not sure if this is a chemical pregnancy? 
I tested 4 days before my period and got the positive and then I tested the day of my missed period to get a near negative.
I have my dr appointment booked in on Thursday but any advice would be appreciated…

I don’t wish to upset you.. This happened to me with tests, a few days before my chemical pregnancy. 
My symptoms I was feeling at the first faint positive lines around 3 weeks, quickly started to disappear, I didn’t think much of it all with it being so early at the time and I was not really used to the symptoms, Until the bleeding happened (I just initially thought it would be an easy pregnancy) 
each time I’ve been pregnant (4 times) by week 3 - 4 I’ve always felt intense symptoms that let me know I was pregnant. So lack of that time around made sense.
Bleeding started at exactly 4 weeks for my previous pregnancy, at the beginning of this year :/ 
I hope so much this is not the same situation for you, without sugarcoating however, tests should definitely get darker, not lighter after a few days 
I am very blessed, and became pregnant again immediately after the loss. I’m 30 weeks tomorrow with a healthy baby boy
