My husband was SO adamant about getting a paternity test for our daughter, all because he didn't believe that she was his. You wanna know what made him finally back off?

She has his blood type.

That's it, that's all it took to convince the man. Not the science or the timing, but the blood type. I WISH I could make this shit up. And before anyone tries to accuse me of cheating, HOLD YOUR HORSES - I am polyamorous. If you don't know what that means, Google it. Anyway in my husband's mind, there were 2 other potential fathers - a black man and my actual partner. Here's why neither was possible:

1 - I only had sex with the black guy twice BEFORE my last period (Oct 12). Then I never did again because he's a creep, but that's a WHOLE other rant 🙄 I also hadn't seen my actual partner during the entire month I conceived, which was late October. I found out Nov 16th.

2 - My partner is STERILE! Sometime after his (now) 9y/o's conception/birth, he developed testicular cancer. After undergoing high doses of chemo just to survive and beat it, what would be temporary infertility for a lot of men was permanent for him.

3 - As a result of that, he doesn't produce sperm OR semen. As in, he's not even shooting blanks. He can still have sex just fine, but he never has to worry about birth control because he IS the birth control 🤣

NONE OF THAT convinced my husband, but me telling him that she has HIS blood type sealed it. Elvira's basically a carbon copy of her sister Karolyn (age 5) when she was born - she even has blue eyes like Karolyn did! And Karolyn and their brother JJ (age 2) could pass as twins themselves!! I swear I may just divorce this man for fear of catching his stupidity, because if he can't see the resemblance he's a lost cause 🤦🏾‍♀️
