Hey everyone!

We have been trying for over a year now and my period is a couple days late. I took a test this morning and it said negative, no faint lines or anything. Is there a chance I could be pregnant t still or is this just one of those times where my period skips (never has before)? Curious if anyone has had this before as well, any advice or thoughts is welcome and I do have an appt with my doctor but not til end of next week
