Should I switch OB’s at 32 weeks?

I just had an appt at 32w2d for an ultrasound and check up. It unfortunately has been a very negative experience. The ultrasound tech there can hardly get clear images and they have referred me to a high risk sonographer before because she wasn’t able to complete an anatomy scan (which is not a problem to me). However, no one mentioned at that time that I was considered high risk. I’ve had several appts since then until today with me. The main focus of these being my blood pressure. They started me on a medication and everything is under control. Today at my appointment the nurse practitioner said that everything looked good on my ultrasound but there were still some views they weren’t able to get so they want me to go back to the high risk somographer bc they use better equipment. This was all that I was told. When I went to the check out desk, the girl told me they want me to come back twice a week from now on. I asked why and all she could tell me was for monitoring. I’m doing a little google research and see things about this being protocol for high risk pregnancies. But no one at this office has told me if I am high risk or talked about those expectations. I’m wondering if it’s too late for me to switch doctors. This seems like a major communication failure.
