What’s the biggest mistake you’ve ever made ?

I was an alcoholic, quitting jobs, racking up credit debt for alcohol and almost got my car repossessed. I pulled my head out of my ass, did a lot of self work and healing, set boundaries and lost a lot of “friends” in the process. I’ve now found my career, paid off that same car I almost lost, found my true and healthy friends and fiancé 💓 along with working on myself everyday - it never stops regardless of how many years have passed. I haven’t drank alcohol in 6 years too. Anything is possible if we put in the work to get there. Nothing is overnight though so we have to keep pushing through even on our worst days 🫶🏼

I racked up $65k in credit card debt during a manic episode. I admitted there was a problem. I filed for bankruptcy and started over. It’s been 5 years. I restructured my remaining auto/home debt and followed a plan to be entirely debt free by 2030. I’ll be 43 and worth about $500k when all is said and done. The first step was acknowledging the issue, then making a realistic plan to survive it.

I wish I never forgave certain family members because I was afraid to be alone. Wish I stood my ground years and years ago. I could have saved myself so much grief, money, and self love.

Taking 28 credit hours in one semester. I powered through, made straight As, lost some sleep, and I will never take that many at one time, ever again.

I got in a fight and was expelled from the alternative school I went to and dropped out the second I turned 18. I went through a diversion program, went to therapy, made amends with the girl I fought with and worked really hard to get my GED while being a single mom at 18. Definitely my biggest regret but I used it to better myself
