My husband and I are traveling to Oregon this winter. Probably on Christmas <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glow.android.eve">Eve</a> and if not, then the day after Christmas

We want to fly into the airport that’s by crater lake and spent maybe 1-2 days there and then drive up to bend Oregon

We’ve only been to Oregon one time and we stayed on the coast in Newport and it was BEAUTIFUL. i still cry thinking about the amazing trees we saw and how you’d drive along the coast and the trees would open up and you’d see the ocean 🤩🥰😭 truly the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen!!!!

Is anyone on here living in Oregon or familiar with it that can give some ideas on an itinerary?

We’re both too scared to ski but we love hiking so we want to try the snowshoeing which I heard you can do at crater lake? My husband is scared that it’s not safe there.

We also read that you can go camping at the desert that is like 30-40 minutes from bend Oregon? I think it’s called smith rock state park? We would be flying in from illinois and there’s no way we’d be able to pack our camping stuff… are you able to rent camping stuff?… we’d probably be able to bring our really small stuff like our tiny table top fire thing and things like that but we probably can’t pack our tent or any big stuff

I’d love to have some ideas of things to do!!!! Restaurants? Coffee shops? Anything free🤩, and of course the outdoor activities like the snowshoeing and camping… we will be there for a whole week 🤩❤️
