Can I stop a dog from peeing on a certain spot?

My sister in laws Dow is always peeling on my son’s toy that is meant to sit on the floor. I wash it all the time and he still owes on it. This dog isnt well trained so I know he won’t listen to me. Can I put something that will keep him away from it and then eventually forget that he ever pee on it?

Vinegar, dogs aren’t fans of it I would try that. Spray it all over the area

You need to disinfect the toy and you also need to put something on it that will get rid of the urine smell. Even though you can’t smell it anymore the dog probably still smells it. I would also look into crate training the dog since it isn’t fully potty trained yet.
