Our beautiful little girl came early this month after premature rupture of membranes - 6th August. She managed to hold out until late 9th August her ctg trace became abnormal... her heart rate was high there was little movement and there was low variation.... an hour later and the ctg was worse than the first one... they were going to induce me but atter a review of her ctgs and my blood results coming back with infection markers the decision was made to do an emergency c section - she had hypoxia and wouldnt cope with a normal delivery.... at 3:15am i entered theatre... at 3:30 surgery was commenced after the relivant checks 5minutes beforehand... by 3:32 i was screaming in pain after the aneasthetic hadnt worked correct on my right side and i felt the scalpol cut through me :( 3:34am i was put under general anaesthetic and baby girl was born at 3:36am weighing 3lb 12oz...
