Does it really matter to have sex every other day ? Or every day ? Will sperm for sure live for the in between day ?

I had sex everyday during my fertile windo (and a few outside my fertile window to be sure). I got pregnant the first month we tried. I know it's not guaranteed but that's how I did it.

My OB said every other day. And yes, the sperm wil for sure live longer than a day as long as you don't have some kind of spermicide. Your body's pH when you ovulate is such to keep the sperm alive for a while so they can reach the egg.
