Can you get fired for requesting time off at work??

I started a new job this year, in April.

I had 3 vacations booked for the year with my family and boyfriend. So during my job interview, I asked my manager how many vacations days I got because I had 3 vacations to go on later in the year.

He said that he wasn’t sure how many vacation days that I got, but he knew that I had some because I was full time.

After I started working, I realized that they don’t just give you PTO and that you earn hours after every pay period.

After a few weeks there, I put my requests in for my 3 vacations.

1 week off in July. 4 days off in September. And 1 week off in October.

He accepted my week off in July and I went on that vacation. I ended up having enough PTO hours for it.

He hasn’t accepted my week off in September or October yet. The September one is coming up soon.

I’m worried that he’s gonna say he can’t approve them. Or let me go on it, but I’ll be in trouble when I get back.

I’m worried they are gonna be mad for me taking a week off in September and one in October.

I told my family about it and they are upset because they want me to go on the vacations with them and also I can’t get a refund and I paid thousands of dollars.

I’m gonna go on my vacations regardless but I really don’t want to lose my job.

Any advice??
