Autistic and bad eating habits
So my daughter is 20yo and is moving out. She’s autistic and struggles a lot with food, she has periodical food preferences. She eats one specific meal/food for a while (most of the time refuses to eat anything else besides the specific meal/food) and then switches to another meal/food continuing the cycle. I usually force her to eat something on the side of what she would like to eat, but I’m afraid she won’t eat healthy and get the nutrients she needs once she moves out. I know she’s an adult that can make her own decisions, but she’s been to the hospital twice because of different deficiencies and anemia, I just don’t want her to go through that again because she’s not taking care of herself. And before anyone asks, we have talked to her doctor and she said that my daughter is perfectly okey taking care of herself. What can I realistically do to help her?
