My partner dropped our newborn on the floor. There's an area rug and then vinyl flooring underneath. I didn't see it happen but the baby was swaddled and he had a lump on the back of his head right after it happened. We rushed to the children's hospital and they looked him over and we stayed for observation of about 5 hours. He seems to be his normal self and has taken 2 full feedings since then. At the hospital they offered to do a ct scan but we declined it because we were told it increases the chance of cancer. We are back home now and I'm still going back and forth with myself over if I should've just gotten him the scan! I'm a wreck! Idk what to do!! Please help!
