Need advice on HPV

So im 34, and started to be sexually active only few years ago, and had multiple partners.

I recently had my first pap test and got hr-hpv positive (not 16 not 18), with abnormal cells of type ASCUS.

My gyno seems chill about it and I have a colposcopy next week, and im freaking out over the stuff im reading on the net.

I don’t know if I had it from my ex years ago, or if it’s new. And this is worrying me because of chance of persistence???

Im generally healthy person, I stopped smoking a year ago ( was not a regular or heavy smoker either).

What are the chances for it to persist? If yes, does it still clear out after? And does ASCUS give you any indication at all?

Im gonna see the doctor in a week but until then im going crazy for answers.

Also, i heard AHCC can help, anything else i should take with it?
