Does drive go back to normal on antidepressants?

My husband has been on antidepressants for a little over a month. He was an every other day kind of guy now he barely has a drive at all. And when he does it takes him a very very long time to finish. He’s so frustrated and now insecure about it. 
Does this go back to normal while still taking the medication? Or only if you come off of it?

I’m not knowledgeable about antidepressants, but he could always take supplements to increase the drive, and it wouldn’t be shameful or embarrassing because the medication is clearly effecting the drive, it’s out of his control.
