So I had my gyno appointment and he confirmed there was a 5cm endometrioma on my left ovary (the size of an orange) and he could physically feel it in my abdomen. His biggest concern was torsion happening where the cyst distorts things so much that it cuts the blood supply off. So he recommended we stop TTC for atleast until a month after surgery. He said if I get pregnant prior to surgery that it will probably get denied and then I will be at risk of torsion for even longer which if it does happen would be a medical emergency. Surgery is booked out at lease 2 months he said. So I guess this is it for now.. month 8 TTC with no positive anything to be continued…eventually.
