Hello, I was wondering if I can be pregnant and not know?

I was having unprotected sex but had gotten birth control from my doctor. He told me to wait for me period and start.

I was waiting on my period usally comes on the 5th but it came on the 7th.

As it was starting like dark red blood I took the pill and it bled a little more then kinda stopped. Maybe one bleed and that was about it.

Since then I’ve been taking my pills and on my withdraw week I do bleed lightly ( just need a liner) it’s been the 2nd pack. This month I do have slight cramps that come and go - never really gotten them before

I guess this is Normal?

I just was reading about ectopic pregnancy and all this crazy stuff and I don’t wanna be over paranoid but can someone give me comfort on me not being pregnant and this is just the hormones !
