Planning a family Halloween shower on Halloween night starting at 3:30-7:30

Our second shower for friends will be the following Sunday.

I figured it would be better to have family for Halloween and friends for the weekend so family can celebrate the holiday together and most of them do not have trick or treaters anymore and some of them don’t work so I didn’t think it would effect people as much, but I seem to be getting a little bit of push back.

My block gets busy and so we’d be passing out candy and stuff still so it’s not like they’d miss out on that.

I mainly work weekends and I cant take off too much work to have both party’s on a weekend day and don’t have the space for family and friends together
