8 weeks. Blood behind placenta?

I went for a checkup yesterday and was told there was a blood pocket behind the placenta. I could be quoting it wrong but what does that mean? Has anyone else dealt with this? I have an 8 year old and we didn't have this issue with her.

Did your doctor say it was a subchorionic hematoma?  They are actually quite common and usually not a problem.

Subchorionic Hematoma. Mine was diagnosed at 6 weeks, it was small. I did bleed it out, lasted a couple hours and today at our 9 week ultrasound it was gone:)

Basically it's an implantation bleed that clotted and never came out. Not a worry at all.

I had that with both of my pregnancies. If it's small there's nothing to worry about. If it's bigger they just keep an eye on it much closer .
 I bled with this pregnancy couple of weeks ago and was told it's a hematoma. Doctor told me I can even do yoga, no bed rest for mine
