Mid cycle period that is a totally different

I was supposed to be ovulating last week. My cycles are pretty typical and around 28-29 days.

However, on CD15 all my OPKs were so faint, my cervix was super low, and then my period showed up.

This is the strangest period I’ve ever had. Not only is it early, but my flow goes from light to medium. And has a lot of mucus with some tiny clots.

I haven’t been on any bc for about a year. We’ve been trying to conceive for the last couple months but nothing else has changed.

Advice?????
