When you were breastfeeding did you get sick more often?

I have been breastfeeding for awhile and it seems like every month or so I’m sick. I was never like this so I’m starting to wonder if it’s because I’m breastfeeding. If you are breastfeeding do you feel like you get sick often?

I became infected with everything my baby caught at daycare, so yes, but it was because of daycare not breastfeeding. Are you still taking a prenantal or postnatal every day? Are you losing weight quickly? You may want to consider increasing your calorie intake, specifically proteins and vegetables.

No. I breastfed two kids and never got sick. I also don’t get sick often to begin with. But kids definitely bring more germs around, especially if they’re in school or daycare.

Yes! Breastfeeding felt like it hit my immune system. I would catch everything but baby seemed to get only super mild symptoms
