Early on in pregnancy, the wives tale was true for me. My son’s heart rate was always around 130-140. The girl I’m currently pregnant with was close to 170. But as she’s gotten bigger and my pregnancy has progressed, she’s now around 140 pretty consistently.

Nope. I’ve had 3 boys & just gave birth to a girl & their heart rates were all over the place. I know my 2nd boy had a pretty high heart rate (170-180s) and my girl’s heart rate consistently stayed between 130-140.
