My 4 year old is becoming more and more defiant as the day goes on. He’s at daycare twice a week for 6 hours, the second he gets home he just annoys his little brother (1.5 year old) by snatching and throwing his toys, annoying him by constantly chasing after him, just overall being a nuisance. I try being gentle, reminding him of gentle hands, taking away his toys. He now also doesn’t want to use manners, when he wants something he just asks for it with no please or thank you. I get this is all developmentally appropriate for his age but I just don’t want to get it wrong. Mamas any advice on how to reinforce positive behaviour? I want to be strict but I don’t want to be yelling all day long.
