How accurate is BBT?

This is my first cycle temping. I’m wondering if bbt is 100% accurate for knowing that you ovulated or if a progesterone blood draw is the only real way to know you ovulated or not. Thanks so much!!!!

BBT is more accurate than opks but it also depends on if you are doing it correctly. BBT should be done at the same time every morning after at least 3 hours of consecutive sleep before you move or get up starting from cd1. It does look like you ovulated cd17 but you do need one more temp to confirm like you said. 
Blood work is always the most accurate way to know for sure. But nothing is ever 100% blood work would let you know you ovulated for sure but not necessarily exactly what day since progesterone peaks between 6dpo and 8dpo.

This is my chart. I know I would need one more day of increased temp to confirm ovulation (I also know my chart is whacky, it’s my first time so I wasn’t really that consistent with my timing and such)
