My 13 year old step son has been really sad lately. We've asked him what's wrong and he keeps saying nothing. I asked him again today and he said he just doesn't get the point of anything. Why is the world so bad. Why do bad things happen to good people and why do bad people sometimes get away with no punishment. Why isn't anyone helping the homeless family outside of Walmart. He asked does anything in life really matter because it seems like the meaning of life is just to die because death is the only thing promised

I wasn't really sure what to say. I plan on telling my husband when he gets home but that seems like a lot for a 13 year old
