Autism and Epilepsy- need advice
I don’t know what to do at this point and could really use advice from someone who’s went through a similar situation. My daughter got diagnosed with autism last year right before her third birthday (she’s now 4) and got diagnosed with epilepsy last week. She is supposed to take liquid medicine 2 times a day and started it 4 days ago. Out of the 4 days we have only been able to get her to take it one time which was the first time. She refuses it through the syringe even with it diluted with something else. She just spits it out. Today I tried diluting it and putting it in a cup for her to drink it out of a straw thinking she wouldn’t realize it was her medicine but she refused to drink it. I don’t know what to do at this point to get her to take it and could really use some advice/ suggestions
