Help - have I ovulated?

I had a miscarriage at the beginning on this month hence the long cycle. I wasn’t going to test ovulation, but got egg white CM and decided to just for knowledge. I think I had my LH peak on 9/10, but then it has been high since. Have I ovulated and if so when did I ovulate? Also should I keep testing until it goes down or does it matter?

LH fluctuates and you can have multiple surges. The first surge is the one that should trigger ovulation. So if your first surge was the 8th then you could have ovulated the 9th or the 10th. After your first positive opk there is no need to keep testing since opks don't confirm ovulation anyway.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Ovulation is based off of your initial positive OPK, if your first positive of the cycle is on 9/8, you would have most likely ovulated on 9/9, or possibly 9/10. You don’t have to keep testing after your first positive. OPK’s only detect a surge in LH, though, not ovulation itself! Good luck!
