First time writing on here and hoping I can get some advice.

I am 34 years old and I’ve finally been diagnosed with endometriosis, fibroids, and a cyst after 2 years of trying to figure out what’s going on with my extremely painful periods. I don’t want any kids so I decided a hysterectomy would be the best for me. They are going to use a robot for my surgery and I’ve never had major surgery before so I’m kinda freaking out. my surgery is scheduled for December 4th and I’m trying to figure out how to best prepare. Has anyone on here had a hysterectomy recently? Do u have any dos or don’ts? Any encouragement is greatly appreciated.
