Flu jab for toddler?

I had a message from the Drs saying my toddler can have the flu jab, he’s currently 2years and 9 months. 
Just wondering if you have already or are going to take your toddler for their flu jab?

Mine is in daycare and always sickness there so she gets it and I get it since I believe in practicing what I preach!

Both my kids get it every season. My son had it at his 1 year and will be getting it at his 2 year appointment on October 4th. 
My daughter is 3 and has also been getting it every year.

We skip it. Just our preference.

We have always gotten it and will again in the next month or so. I believe in protecting her as much as possible and making sure she is well enough to go to school to learn.

In the UK, children’s flu vaccines are a nasal spray. Is this not an option for you?

My son is 2. Never done it, don’t plan on it. I don’t believe in getting one for myself either, unless forced by a job. I didn’t have a flu shot till I was about 15/16 years old, my mom never has us get them as kids. 
I do believe genetics play a BIG part in immunity. My siblings and I were never “sickly” children. Even as adults, very rarely ever get sick. 
My son has never been “sick” here - he has the 3x he’s been to Jamaica and I think that’s due to change in weather/different pathogens and “river water” we swim in. Same sickness each time, easily treated with antibiotics from my local MD out there.
