a year ago me and my gf of 4 years were having a conversation over the phone about our relationship, we were having a hard time with some things that have happened and were deciding if it was best to end the relationship or not. in the middle of this conversation she decides to send me a random 5 second clip of some kpop guy dancing. she did this over and over again, not responding to any of my messages. it made me feel insanely disrespected and like she didn’t care that our relationship was possibly ending. she never apologized, just moved on. today she sent me the same clip. she also sent a picture of her with a stupid filter as we were talking about this today. this is our conversation:

Coming from someone whose partner when he’s upset about something completely different will pick out problems from the past like they just happened even though it was already discussed and resolved, I somewhat understand the annoyance and where she’s coming from… Like, you can’t keep milking an old wound as leverage to manipulate someone into apologizing for the rest of however long your relationship lasts. That’s equally as damaging as her being dismissive of your feelings. She’s still being dismissive of it and I’m not making excuses for her but you need to determine whether she’s frequently disrespectful and you’re not willing to tolerate that, or whether you’re using this one example as a way to solicit empathy because you’re feeling a certain way.

The one thing my husband has told me when we first started dating was,  if both people want the relationship to work they will always fight for it no matter what. It seems like she isn't fighting for the relationship, only you are and I am so sorry. And who calls their other one bruh??? Ugh I hate that so much. It's quite annoying. I think it's time you have alone time and figure out if this is something you are willing to deal/put up with.

She clearly still has growing up to do and is clearly not ready for a relationship if she can’t have a conversation with you about how you feel to which communication is key in a relationship and you need that from both sides not just yours I think she needs to understand not to send pictures and video’s especially one that has put your relationship in jeopardy  and when trying to have a serious conversation, maybe you should call her cause then she’ll know how you feel about the situation and the fact that she sent it again a yr later seems as though she doesn’t care and just wants to give a shitty apology and get it over with , that will ruin a relationship quickly cause feelings will get bottled up  inside and not be talked about and eventually will all come out which isn’t good, I hope this works out for you!

I’m genuinely confused at how somebody could be so incredibly immature DURING a serious conversation.  I wonder if it was deliberate to get you to dump her…??  OR she simply didn’t care…?
