My daughter is six and has no problem going pee on the potty, but refuses to go poop and will just go in her underwear. I just go a call from her school nurse for the third time in four days saying she went in her underwear again. I am at a loss. I made a doctors appointment for the September 30th although I’m not getting my hopes up that it’ll help. When she was younger she had problems with constipation and wouldn’t go for 3-4 days sometimes more and when she did go poop it was hard for her. We found out last May she is allergic to milk and she’s been milk and dairy free since than and hasn’t had any costipation problems.

How can I help her want to go on the toilet without making her feel bad? She’s very sensitive and every time I bring it up she gets upset.
