i was due september 17th with my lovely freya mae and i went into labor that morning at 5am i woke up to my water broke and i was having some very mild cramping but it wasn’t enough to tell, and i didn’t know if it was sweat or water so i changed my underwear and went back to bed woke up at 11 and felt this wetness in my underwear when i stood up so i told my boyfriend and he rushed home from work and we headed to the hospital and i was dilated 2 cm, after that they started me on pitocin and i started contracting even more and once i got to 3.5/4 cm i needed that epidural because my whole body was shaking, i was starting to cuss and cry and yell and squeeze my boyfriends hand as hard as i could, once i got the epidural i was perfectly fine didn’t feel a single contraction i felt great, then overnight til about 5am i only made it to 6cm and i stopped dilating all together so after 2 hours around 6:50 they asked if i wanted to do a c section and i gave up and said i wanted it and at 7:16am i had my lovely freya mae she weighed a whopping 8 pounds 8oz, 20.5 inches long and she was just perfect 🥺
