Two weeks ago I came down with a sinus and left middle ear infection. I was given cefnidir and just completed my course three days ago. I have now started having orangey, reddish nasal mucus whenever I blow my nose. I don’t feel any sinus pressure or pain anymore and my ear no longer hurts however it is still slightly clogged. is it possible that this nasal mucus is the color it is because of the infection draining? Or antibiotic, causing it to be this color? I have a follow up with my ENT in three weeks. I just want to know if this is something I should go back to the doctor sooner for or if I can wait until my follow up appointment. I’m not experiencing any discomfort or pain anymore. The color of my mucus is just extremely concerning to me. Whats also strange is that the colored mucus comes out of my left nostril when my ear infection was on my left ear. My right nostril only secretes clear, normal mucus. Am I healing and slowly getting everything out or am I still full of infection
