Hey guys so my baby shower is October 19th and I’m super super excited for it, really I am.. We invited all of my wife’s family who lives here in Pennsylvania since all of my family is in Texas (where I’m from) well I just got the news that just about everyone in my wife’s family who RSVP’d as coming just cancelled. Out of 60+ people in her family maybe 15ish are coming now. We sent the invites out 4 months before the baby shower to try and ensure people not planning over the date so that they could come. It’s less than a month until the baby shower and I’ve already paid for all the food and the venue and now that no one is coming I’m just wishing that I had stayed in Texas or never agreed to have a baby shower in the first place. I know baby showers aren’t just about gifts but my wife’s family begged me to throw this baby shower so they could get him stuff, they asked me not to buy things cause they wanted to get them and now they are cancelling.. I just I’m not sure if I’m overreacting or not..
