I know the tests are dry, and I know to test in 48 hrs. Just want experienced feedback.
Not sure how common this is.
I have not been TTC, I actually have an appointment for birth control tomorrow.
On glow my period is considered 2 days late and on Flo my expected period is tomorrow.
I have not been tracking ovulation because I am not actively TTC. After two miscarriages we decided this might not be our time.
We have tried hard to remain abstinent until my BC appointment, but we did cave in and had just one night of connecting which was 9/12 exactly two weeks ago, but prior to then nothing and after that nothing. Thank goodness for busy work schedules and school back in session 🥴
I decided to test because my period is “late” according to glow, and because I have been very crampy like AF is coming but she’s not here yet.
The cramping started about 2-3 days ago.
First test was yesterday and I got very faint lines as they dried they seemed to darken, but they were pretty faint.
This morning I tested again and on the blue dye it is faint, but much darker than the pink dye. My last two pregnancies the FRER was a lot more reliable and this time doesn’t seem as so.
Is it common that the tests can be darker faint one day and not the next?
My DPO says 16, but this seems much to light for 16 dpo, could this be a chemical? Or could I really be just about 14 dpo? Or earlier in dpo?
I have order a formal HCG that will be drawn today, but was just curious if any has ever tested using different brands and what their experience was, is this normal the results I’m getting back?
