I was abused my entire life by my parents so I'm EXTREMELY protective over my kids. I have been with my boyfriend for 5 years. He's really sweet and good with my kids but he said something to my daughter that I'm wondering if this is abusive because he's making fun of her interests. My daughter and her friends are into these videos about a toilet called skibidi toilet. She and her friends keep saying skibidi and when my boyfriend asked about it she showed him the videos. Mind you she's only 14. He said "That is the stupidest thing I've ever seen." Granted. My daughter just laughed and didn't seem offended. I just will never pick a man over my kids and if I feel he's mean or abusive to them I won't stay. But I feel maybe I'm being dramatic.
