Is it normal to not have two periods in a row? I’m on combination birth control and take it consistently. My boyfriend and I are long distance so I’m not consistently sexually active either. However, this week we did have unprotected sex (which I am aware is risky) but last month, we hadn’t seen each other and I did not bleed at all. Yet, I’m still experiencing my usual period symptoms (ie. Period poo before I start, headaches, body temperature HOT (always), etc. Is this normal or concerning? Has anyone else experienced this? Should I consult my Doctor?

I should also note I have been dealing with personal family stress lately which could also play a role.
