When did you test positive for pregnancy ?

I’m 3 days late. Test are negative.

8 days ago I had brown spotting for 2 days. If I was to be pregnant wouldn’t the test be positive by now?

If that was implantation related you would have had a positive pregnancy test by now. 
The spotting could also have been ovulation related. You most likely ovulated later than normal and that's what is causing the delay.

yes if that was implantation it would definitely be positive by now. sounds like mid cycle spotting or a weird period. You ovulated late and as of now, are not pregnant.
