My husband's ex wife hates me. I've tried being nice to her. I'm always good to the kids but she just finds reasons to complain about me and hate me. She had said I'm not a good step mom and I don't bother with my step kids which isn't true. My step son just turned 16. And I was trying to figure out what we can do for his birthday. He loves animals. He's a vegetarian and doesn't believe in eating animals. So I spoke to my husband about a fun gift for him. It's called cow hug therapy where you can go to this barn that saves farm animals from abuse and slaughterhouses. And you can give them hugs. I took my step son and he had the most amazing time. Well now his mom is mad and saying I purposely outshined her on his birthday because she got him a new ice phone and all he wants to talk about is the barn and hugging cows. She thinks I tried to outshine her. I just tried to figure out a gift that he would love. I can't do anything right I guess...
