Baby walker

Is it necessary to have a baby walker ? I had one at first but got rid of it during a moving process but now my baby is 5 months turning 6 and I’m considering buying another one .

Those types aren’t even recommended at all anymore. Push walkers are much better for learning to walk and development.

These don’t help the baby walk because it’s an unnatural posture + pose risk of hip dysplasia. Definitely opt for a push walker!!

My son is almost 2 and has scoliosis so his doctors said no walkers for him when he was that young, told me a floor baby is the best baby. No swings Walkers jumpers ect...it crunches their spines up, they need room to stretch their bodies. Soon as we put him on the floor he flourished like crazy!! Started sitting up on his own, crawling, walking around things like the couch and coffee table. Then started walking and eventually running lol 😆 get your baby a soft mat or very soft rug to roll around on!

Sit in ones are not recommended. At all. They hinder proper hip development and don’t even teach how to walk.

It’s similar to having a jumper, something fun to do but doesn’t do much benefit. For learning to walk, the recommend a push one. And honestly my kids only used these ones for like a month and then they walk and never use again.
