Implantation failure

Hi all so I did a mineral mud bath treatment which is supposed to boost your fertility. Just over a week later close to my period i had mild cramping that would come and go for several days and nausea. I didnt take a test during this time. On the day my period was due i had no period pain or cramps but i got my period like normal. I really thought it could have been implantation failure has anyone experienced something similar. Ive never been able to get pregnant and Im 40.
