My husband, 4 year old and I have all come down with a cold— runny noses, sore throat, mild cough. My daughter was the first to be sick on Monday and seems to be better today. So far my 4 month old has had no signs of being sick. I’m supposed to go out of town this weekend and I’m so afraid that the baby will get sick and I’ll have to cancel my trip. She’s exclusively breastfed so I know she will get some antibodies from me but how effective is it really. If we’ve all been sick for like 24-48 hours at this point and she’s not can we safely assume she’s dodged it?
