Twins and fertility treatments ?

It has been a year with no luck. I just made an appointment today with an endocrinologist to talk about fertility treatment options. For those who have gone on them, any that you recommend? Also, is it true about the likeness of twins being higher as well? Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Multiples can increase, but not by much. Simply just due to possibly of releasing multiple eggs

There is a slight increase depending on your treatment plan. With IUI you can opt out of the cycle if you have more than 1 mature follicle growing. To lower your chances with IVF, transfer one embryo at a time

It all depends on the person! My husband is a triplet, and dad is an identical twin so it seems like “odds are in our favor” for multiples. Our successful medicated IUI with injections resulted in 6 mature follicles. I was terrified but we went thru with it and ended up with a singleton pregnancy/1 babe. 
Fast forward a few more years, I’ve done 2 more IUI cycles w/ oral meds this year. Each resulted in 4-5 mature follicles. Did not end up pregnant with either. Not sure if that helps but even with the “odds in favor” of multiples, we haven’t ended up with any.
