I had an “fraud investigation” interview last year and I haven’t heard from them since. They said they’ll contact my husband and he hasn’t heard from them either. No letter, email, phone call … Nothing. I was told that if it’s under a certain amount then I just won’t be able to apply for a year, and if it’s over a certain amount then i’ll have to go to court. I called yesterday to check and I was told that it only shows that my food stamps stopped last year and she didn’t see any notes or anything about the investigation or about me not being able to apply again. Does that mean that I’m able to apply now? Or should I continue to wait until I hear from them?
