I got a positive test.. had minimal spotting.. doctors had me do bloodwork 4 times over the course of a month & two ultrasounds. HCG was not doubling (They were 7017 on 9/17, 11008 on 9/19, 19528 on 9/24 and 23804 this past Tuesday 10/1) and both ultrasounds (normal and vaginal) showed a sac and yolk sac but no embryo. My sac was measuring 6 weeks last week and this week (10 day difference) is measuring 7 weeks. Because my levels are rising and my sac is growing they want me to do more bloodwork next week.. if my levels rise again, bloodwork again, if the rise again, another ultrasound. I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY!!! My ultrasound itself says “pregnancy failure”. There’s no embryo shown on either ultrasound and they’re putting me through all of this extra testing for NOTHING. I want to get a D/C and start my healing process, not have to relive this over and over again. I also do not want to pass it naturally/at home as I am a SHAM and have two toddlers. This is torture. They also keep telling me “it’s a gray are” “it’s a waiting game” “there’s no yes or no if you’re pregnant”. Anyone else experience this!?
