Advice ladies - ghosted

So about a week or so, I met this guy on Bumble. We texted for a few days. I didn’t took it seriously, because nothing from that app has worked so far. The night before he left supposedly left the country we ended up sexting. I was so into him that I ate everything he said. I felt such a connection. And he was so polite and kept checking how I was feeling about it. Next day I texted him “have a safe flight babe” and I never got a message back from him. Now I want to text him but I don’t know if I should.
