Heavy Implantation or Off Cycle
*Cross Post*
I got my period on Friday & with my two tracking apps 1 said one day early and the other app said 4 days early. Usually, I'm not early; I tend to always be three days past what my apps say or since my last two cycles I ovulated later so it was a week later I got my period. Anyways, My “period” this time only lasted two days. Not typical at all- usually my cycle is 5-7 days. It was not exactly light in color, but it was not a heavy flow either. I only have now light brown discharge (sorry for TMI), which doesn't come out at all or very minimal when I wipe.
I kept seeing over and over again that “heavy implantation" is a common thing for women- but most mistake it as a period which makes sense. Although I didn’t think this could be the case at first however, after only having a period for two days I am seriously considering it. During my "period," I took a couple tests, & the results were BFN. I feel foolish overanalyzing this, but I've never experienced this before.
The things I noticed before was one side of my breasts was sensitive & still is a little bit. Excessive thirst then & now. Had a headache for two days. Light cramping/sharpness on one side- mild and for a week until the day of my "period." The day I got my period I had cramping- a little more intense but bearable throughout the day on and off but it was gone the next day. Hot & cold flashes, still get them. Nausea on & off (but with my health history that is typical for me.)
Don’t know if it is due to a change in my diet and light exercise which I started a week and few days ago. I’ve done this before (diet and exercise months ago and I didn’t get this.) Just trying to wrap my mind around it.
I did reach out to my OBGYN and they said it could be possible that it is an implantation or it could be a fluke. I have an appointment with them in November and it is 10.7.24. Long wait. In any case, they did send labs for me to get an HCG checked but I’m going to wait a few days. I’m going to take home tests first before going for the blood work.
Had this happened to anyone before? If so, when did you get your positive test?
