When did you tell your job you were pregnant and how did they react?

Told them around 9weeks pregnant. With my second i told them at 12 weeks as soon as i found out. Nothing but congratulations and best wishes both times. Had to be on sick leave both times due to crazy headaches, so went stright from sick leave to maternity leave.

I told them when I had to start missing bc of symptoms and appointments. They promptly took advantage of me lol.

I was in the military so i had to tell them immediately. It was literally a rule you had to tell the CO within 6weeks of finding out. Dumb. But i was also an x-ray tech so i would have told them immediately anyway in order for my baby & i to get monitored correctly for how much radiation we were being exposed to. They reacted fine both times. About how youd expect the military to react. They were less friendly with my second bc it was 'bad timing' for them. So glad im out of the military now & dont have to deal with the bs
